Hello there.
My name is Léa and I'm a 25 years old frenchy with a passion for everything that is creative: from photography to scrapbooking, with a bit of sewing here and there. I've also started knitting a year ago and I am loving it! I believe the best things in life are handmade and hope to become as self sufficient as possible one day, from making my own clothes to growing my own food. Life 1.0 is making a comeback ;)

I studied Business & Cultural Management in a french Business School and just stopped being a student to get a taste of real life ;). But that doesn't mean I'll stop learning. I'm a self taught kind of girl and after learning by myself Photoshop and movie editing I am now trying to learn a few things about Web Design, mostly because i am having so much fun playing with this blog and looking at others' amazing design! I also recently bought a Bamboo tablet and seriously need to learn & use it more!

When i'm not working or crafting, i can be found in a movie theater or hiding behind a big book. I think culture and imagination are our greatest tools and so I get lost more than often in a good story.
Some of my favorite movies are Legends of the Fall, Edward Scissorhands, Melancholia, The Notebook and Singin' in the Rain.
Books i've read too many times would be Pride & Prejudice, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Lord of the Rings & Sherlock Holmes.
I'm also obsessed with TV shows (i isually scrapbook and watch a few episodes at the same time, days are too short). I grew up watching Buffy & Friends, which are still my all time favorite shows! But i'm also a big Friends, Big Bang Theory & Doctor Who fan (plus a few hundred more!)

So that's pretty much who i am right now. We'll see what tomorrow brings!

If you'd like to get to know me a little more, feel free to explore this blog, or follow me on Bloglovin', Pinterest, and Instagram. If you'd like to get in touch, you can also e-mail me at lea.lacoste@ymail.com!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. I'm going to settle down and watch in bed with my knitting.

Just wanted to say thanks for the Wool Barn tip, and I love your Instagram feed - so pretty!

  2. Hello Lea!
I just found your YouTube podcast and beginning with its name and including your projects and the yarn you show, I have to say that the information you share is really great and very useful. Let me congratulate you on your knitting skills. For being a relatively new knitter your finished objects are absolutely beautiful. You do a great job! I love and appreciate not only the information you share on your podcast and blog, but also your joie de vivre. It is contagious and very inspiring. You come across with a very sweet spirit and loving attitude. Keep up the good work. I will definitely continue to watch and read your material.
